Two Windows
June 29, 2026, noon
Alright! I've pared down my work kits to two Windows machines. Yesterday I retired a couple of Windows machines and converted them to Mint Linux boxes.
Having more than two Windows devices was getting to be a real chore what with the now very frequent updates to Visual Studio. I've got two devices now, my gaming laptop and my jack-of-all-trades Stinkpad, having respectively 64GB and 32GB of RAM.
Today's itinerary is getting some lifting in, swapping monitors around, and then working on 3D modeling and animation. Made good progress yesterday on that front but I'm still figuring things out.
Stay cool, people!
