Ten Years

Ten Years

Sept. 2, 2026, 2 p.m.

I've already beat the odds living to 55. If I start actually taking care of my body I should have 10 years left, at least. Unlike the corporatocracy, I believe that my teeth are part of my body. Going to start taking care of those too. Not looking for a Shane McGowan deal where I get my teeth fixed just in time to die, I want the better part of a decade to enjoy restored mouth function.

I've been pretty disciplined this past week. It's weird how often an illness (in this case the flu) can bring about some a change in world view. I've watched all the Rick and Morty episodes that have been released! I'm going to watch all the new Regular Show shorts too! I'm reading a book!

Every morning I make a to do list, and a list of things I'd like to leave the day having done. So far it's been achievable. Just need to keep working at it. I want those teeth, I want that lake house, I want days where I catch a fish and pick a tomato from my garden and cook a little pot of rice and draw comics.
