Two things happened that might have changed the Bears' future: Virginia McCaskey passed away, and we hired Kevin Warren. It may have been Virginia's well known "no turds" rule that kept us from getting quality coaches like Ben Johnson, or it might have been the superior football and logistical mind of Kevin Warren that righted the ship. Either way, the Bears are finally a professionally run football team. Having Virginia insist that she not learn any new names took us from Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace to Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles. One of those two eventualities actually paid off! Poles has a great scouting department, and once we get our new defensive tackle next to Sweat we're going to have a great defensive line. GO BEARS!
