Alright, got it! It was missing a power supply but they gave me a new power supply for $0.01. The display itself was marked down to $599.99. Got it home and had a 3.0 USB-B cable, very short, that I was able to get it working with. It's amazing! Not only is it glasses free 3D, but outside of that it's a 4K monitor for normal computing.
It's definitely my best monitor and I've got a longer cable coming from Amazon today. It's a lot easier on the eyes than my other monitors. Did I need it? No. 3D is a passtime for me, I really enjoy 3D, but it's definitely non-critical. But as a real human being I have things that I am interested in that aren't strictly productive.
