Cubs Padres Let's Go!
Sept. 29, 2026, noon
Well ursine team #1 did their job and beat the Eagles! I kept an open mind about Case Keenum and he showed he has a good handle on the scheme and the players. Now we move on to team #2, the Cubs!
The Cubs went 5-1 head-to-head against the Padres this season. I've got a pretty good feeling, with the offense at full strength, and with the great Cubs' defense, that the Cubs can take two out of three and advance.
I'm so confident that I'm going to place a $1 wager on tonight's game. Let's go Cubs!
