Gone

Well, the car is gone. It was a good car! But it was too far gone for repair. I'm just going to simmer for a while as a person without a car. I hardly drive so it's not impacting my life much right now. The tow truck came this morning and like a healthy dead person I'm sure there are multiple parts that will find new cars to live in. The engine runs fine as far as I can tell, and the tow truck operator drove it up onto his flatbed. One of the wheels was rubbing against something so not drivable for long but long enough to say goodbye.
